Police prepare to move Supreme Court against Darshan's bail

Darshan, an accused in the Renukaswamy murder case, has been granted full bail by the court. However, the Bengaluru police are preparing to appeal against the bail in the Supreme Court. The polisi's plan is to highlight that Darshan has obtained interim bail on the pretext of ill-health and has not undergone any surgery. The chargesheet, which runs into approximately 5,000 pages, has been translated from Kannada to English and is being examined to rectify the loopholes. The appeal requires the permission of the state home department and the police department is currently completing the process. With all this information, Darshan has the option of approaching the Supreme Court before the police to challenge his bail.
