'Kothalavadi' payment controversy – Mahesh Guru makes a video asking to reach Yash mother

'Kottalavadi' was released on August 1 and has since reached the audience on OTT as well. However, actor Mahesh Guru, who acted in the film, has now made a serious allegation. In the video, he shared his pain that he has not received his remuneration even though he has been involved in the shooting for more than three months.

"My name is Mahesh Guru. I am a theatre artist. I have also acted in movies and serials. I have acted in the film 'Kottalavadi'. The film was produced by Yash's mother Pushpa. I was selected by director Sreeraj. He had promised to give me an advance before the shoot began, but he didn't give it. Even after the movie was over, he didn't pay for it. Even though the dubbing is over, the payment has not been made," he said.

According to Mahesh Guru, he has not received calls from the director since the shoot was over. Even invitations to trailer and teaser events were not given. Now, he has expressed his displeasure over the fact that the film has not been paid even though it has come to OTT. "We are not able to contact the producers directly. That's why I'm making this video. It should reach Yash's mother Pushpa. I am confident that they will definitely consider the matter," Mahesh Guru said in his video.

Mahesh Guru's video went viral on social media and many commented, "Please share this till Yash's mother gets it." However, the video has now been deleted from social media.
