Darshan-Uppi's 'Anatharu' movie turns 18years - Sadhu Kokila shares a memory!


There are many memorable films in the Kannada film industry. One of the most important of them is Orphan (2007). Directed and composed by comedian, music director and director Sadhu Kokila, the film has completed 18 years now. On this occasion, Sadhu Kokila shared this memory on his social media.
Released on September 13, 2007, the film starred Upendra, Darshan and Radhika Kumaraswamy in the lead roles. Sadhu Kokila himself directed, composed music and story-screenplay while Thushar Ranganath wrote the dialogues and lyrics.
Taking to social media, Sadhu wrote, "18 years of the film 'Orphans'! I had an unforgettable experience as a director and music director. Upendra's brilliant performance and Darshan's dedication are the soul of the film." He has also suggested that he do another film with Darshan.
The film is a remake of the Tamil film Pithamagan. Upendra played the role of Vikram in Tamil in Kannada. Darshan had brought to life the role played by Suriya. Both of them received huge appreciation from the audience. Radhika Kumaraswamy's role was also well received.
