Shock to the OTT world: 25 apps including Ullu, Alt Balaji banned in India!

The central government has banned 25 OTT and entertainment apps in India that broadcast obscene content. The list includes apps like Ullu, Alt Balaji, Desi Flix, Hot X VIP, Boomex, Bull App, and many others.
According to the order issued by the Information and Broadcasting Department, these OTTs have been banned for violating Indian broadcasting laws and widely broadcasting obscene and immoral content, which is harmful to the social fabric.
The banned OTTs are currently banned only in India and may be operating abroad. Renowned producer Ekta Kapoor's Alt Balaji is also on the list, and it is possible that others, including her, will approach the court. It is hoped that this decision will pave the way for discipline and ethics in the OTT sector.
