‘Swapnamantapa’ to hit the screens on July 25th – an artistic film directed by Baraguru Ramachandrappa

Produced by Malai Mahadeshwara Enterprises and directed by Prof. Baragur Ramachandrappa, 'Swapnamantapa' is all set to hit the theatres across the state on July 25. Mars Suresh, who has released many good films, is bringing 'Swapnamantapa' to the screens from his company.

'Swapnamantapa' is based on Baragura's novel of the same name. It is a film that advocates conservation of heritage sites. The film is about the protagonist and heroine, who create awareness among the people and save the heritage site when some people try to demolish the 'Swapna Mantapa' built by a king in a village and use it for other purposes.

The film has been selected and screened at many international film festivals. Baragura himself has written the screenplay, dialogues, lyrics and directed the plot. Vijayraghavendra and Ranjini Raghavan play the lead roles. It is a special thing that both of them will be seen in dual roles. Sundararaj, Shobha Raghavendra, Rajini, Sundararaja Urs, Ambareesh Sarangi, Rajappa Dalwai, Venkataraju, Ummattur Basavaraju, Shivalinga Prasad, Mysore Manjula and others are in the cast. Suresh Urs is the editor, Nagaraj Adavani is the cinematographer, Shamita Malnad is the music director, Tribhuvan is the choreographer, Hosmane Murthy is the art designer, Nataraj Shivu and Praveen are the co-directors.
