Supreme Court postpones Darshan's bail hearing - government's appeal is pending decision

The Supreme Court today heard the bail pleas of actor Darshan and seven others accused in the Renukaswamy murder case. Darshan's lawyer argued that the supreme court adjourned the hearing.
The Karnataka government had approached the Supreme Court challenging the high court's bail. Justice A bench of Justices R Mahadevan and Pardiwala is hearing the case. Darshan was granted bail on health grounds and shooting grounds and in the meantime, a video of him attending a party in Thailand went viral.
Darshan and the team attended a night party during the shooting gap of 'Devil'. As a result, the state government argued that the bail should be cancelled. Darshan's bail fate is now awaited by the Supreme Court.
