Sandhya Arakere, who was acclaimed as Bhanu in ‘Su from So’ – an adventure from theatre to cinema

Actress Sandhya Arakere, who won hearts with her role as Bhanu in 'Su From So', is now a new name in the Kannada film industry. Hailing from Arakere in Srirangapatna in Mandya district, the talented actress accidentally entered the world of cinema with theatre.

Sandhya, who started her career with a small role in 'Swathi Muthina Male Haniye' and gained attention with 'Toby', has now become a huge hit with 'Su From So'. The actress, who brought to life the character of Bhanu created by director JP Tuminad, has been a part of the director, especially Raj B. He thanked Shetty.

"Nothing is planned, it feels lucky," says the actor, who has been trained in Ninasam and has played lead roles in plays like 'Gandhi vs Gandhi', 'Ambedkar' and 'Sita Swayamvar'.

"Making a film is not just about shooting or release, it's a life experience," says Raj B. Sharing his experience of working with Shetty, he said he wanted to share his success with everyone.
