Kamal Haasan meets Rajinikanth!; Friendship, politics and unity, a new chapter begins!

Kamal Haasan, who met Rajinikanth at Chennai's Poes Garden, had a bilateral chat with a friend before taking oath as his Member of Parliament. 'Thuglife' actor Kamal Haasan presented a bouquet of flowers to Rajinikanth and wished him for his new political chapter.
Kamal, who will take oath as a Rajya Sabha member on July 25, was elected unopposed with the support of the DMK alliance. His political party Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM) has officially announced the news.
The photos of the meeting have gone viral on social media, bringing once again the long-standing friendship between Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan. The two have reaffirmed their bond as if it were a "friendship higher than stardom".
On the film front, Kamal Haasan was last seen in 'Thuglife'. Though it did not do well at the box office, they are working with the Anbariv duo in a new action film.
