Sandalwood's new heroes welcome - 'Ekka' and 'Junior' break box office silence after 'UI'

The Kannada film industry, which has been silent at the box office for the past six months, has now got a new lease of life. Yuva Rajkumar's 'Ekka' and Kireeti's 'Junior' have been successful and have given a new look to Sandalwood.
These two films have come out well as per the expectations of the audience, though they are not the ones who have the highest number of heroes. At a time when the box office's power has waned after UI and Max, the appreciation nurtured by these new heroes has given rise to new expectations.
'Ekka' has earned Rs 5.66 crore and 'Junior' Rs 5.40 crore, proving that there is scope for new talent as well. The success of these films was made possible by different storylines, hard-working publicity and talent of the actors.
It is certain that this will be a big boost for upcoming films and new talents. It can be said that this is the beginning of a new era for Sandalwood.
