Veteran actor Doddanna visits Inchageri Mutt, seeks blessings of Revannasiddeshwara Swamiji

Senior Kannada actor Doddanna visits Inchageri Mutt Doddanna, who received the blessings of Revannasiddeshwara Swamiji, said that the self will be realized when the ego is released. He was speaking after visiting Sri Kshetra Inchageri Mutt, a place of unity in Chadachana taluk of nearby Vijayapura district, on Friday. "It is as if someone has invented it, (mobile) it has come and made today's children read it. I still have a lot of books in my house. We still read books. But one day we may have a person who reads books. God has not gone anywhere, he is here in us," he said, adding that even now, he and I collect garbage in my wife's house and monasteries. Doddanna praised the Mutt for implementing the social revolution works undertaken by Sri Samarth Sadhguru Madhavananda Prabhuji in the Mutt. Earlier in the day, he had darshan of freedom fighter Murugoda Mahadeva, bhausaheb and girimalleswara maharaja temples. He felicitated Revanasiddeshwara Maharaj, the seer of the Mutt. For some time they discussed the mutt, the importance of saint-mahants, gurumaharajas and spiritual contemplation, and the important role played by the self-realized and freedom fighter Muragoda Mahadeva in the freedom movement. On this occasion, Revanasiddeshwara Swamiji felicitated Doddanna and blessed him.
