"Was Kannada born from Tamil? Dhruva Sarja hits back at Kamal Haasan in Tamil Nadu

Kannada action prince Dhruva Sarja and director Prem have hit back at Tamil actor Kamal Haasan for his controversial remarks that "Kannada is a language derived from Tamil".
Speaking at the teaser launch of 'KD' in Chennai, Dhruva Sarja said, "We are all one family in the film industry. We have to work with mutual respect and harmony. Your motherland has as much love for your motherland as it is for us. There should be no language dispute," he said.
Prem also said, "Kannadigas are hurt by Kamal Haasan's statement. That's why Thuglife has been stopped and other Tamil films have been allowed. We need to know our minds."
Sanjay Dutt also gave the message that "we are all the same – south, no north". This gave credence to Dhruva and Prem's words of bonding in the world of cinema.
