On the last day of the month of Ashadha, Bhima Amavasya is a tradition where married women perform pada puja for the long life of their husbands. Actress Sonal Monteiro also celebrated this traditional ritual in a meaningful way.
Sonal, who got married to Tharun Sudhir on August 11 last year, performed puja at her husband's feet on the occasion of Bhima Amavasya. Sonal shared the photos of this special moment on her social media handle and captioned it, "A husband like you is one in a million, praying for your long life every day. I love you so much," he wrote.
The couple, who are in a love--arranged marriage, have won everyone's heart by celebrating the tradition of devotion from their hearts.
