Tributes to actress B. Saroja Devi: Vaikuntha Samaradhana today

It has already been 11 days since the demise of B. Saroja Devi, a legendary actress of Kannada cinema, who made a valuable contribution to the multilingual film industry. As part of his 12th day of rituals, Vaikuntha Samaradhana will be organised today (July 25, Friday) at 12 noon at his residence in Malleswaram, Bengaluru. The family has also informed the media about it.

B Saroja Devi passed away on July 14 due to age-related complications. The entire Kannada film industry was in tears when they heard the news of his demise. Senior sandalwood actors Upendra, Shivarajkumar, Malashree, Shruthi and many others paid their last respects to the departed soul. Tamil actors Vishal and Karthi also came to Bengaluru to pay their respects. B. Saroja Devi has carved a niche for herself in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi films. He led a disciplined life and became a role model for all through his restrained actions and words. The name 'Sarojamma', a fan memory of the old, is still fondly pronounced even today.
