"A full stop to a six-and-a-half-decade film career: Actress B. Saroja Devi passes away"

Kannada actress B. Saroja Devi passed away today (July 14) and is a huge loss to the film industry. At the age of 87, he breathed his last breath and retreated to the starshine of the cine world. He was suffering from age-related ailments and was undergoing treatment for the past few days.

b. Saroja Devi was one of the proudest actors in the existence of Kannada cinema in the old decade. Apart from Kannada, she also made a mark in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi cinema with her performances. His last film was 'Natasarvabhowma' (2019). Some of his important films include 'Bhakta Kanteerava', 'Kittur Rani Chennamma', 'Arasinakunja', 'Mallammavanu Veedu Bandhu' etc.

Personal Life – The Pain of Forgetfulness of a Trusted Partner, born on January 7, 1938 in Bangalore. Saroja Devi, inspired by her father Byrappa, learnt dance and entered the film industry. Her mother Rudramma was a homemaker. She married Harsha in 1967. He died in 1986. Saroja Devi's funeral will be held at a garden in Kodigehalli next to Harsha's samadhi. As per tradition, the last rites will be performed in the presence of close family members.

She left her footprint in every corner of the film industry and was recognized as a role model for a transgender heroine.
