Actor Pratham moves High Court against Darshan fans! What is the reason?

Bigg Boss Kannada season 4 winner and actor Pratham has approached the High Court against the constant social media hate comments being levelled against him. Actor Darshan and his fans have been accused of violating rights and personal defamation.

The controversy between Pratham and Darshan is not new. Pratham has alleged that his fans are constantly trolling him for speaking against actor Darshan during the 'Renukaswamy murder case'. "We have been receiving obscene messages till 3 pm. These can have a bad impact on my theatrical releases," he told the media.

Pratham has obtained an injection order and initiated legal action against social media users who have been causing extreme obscene trolling, abuse and defamation. "I have not insulted anyone. I only shared my opinion. But people are talking about it. This is contempt of court. From now on, anyone who posts such a post will be directly arrested," he said.

Pratham's move has evoked mixed reactions from fans and cine fans. Along with those who want freedom of expression to be maintained on social media, discussions are going on in full swing to put an end to the atmosphere of hatred.
