On July 14, veteran actress and Kannada film actress B. Saroja Devi passed away. She is an actress who has instilled acting, dancing, laughter and dialogues in the hearts of the audience. Not just an actress, she was an inspiration to many young women.
He was buried next to his mother's grave at Dasavara village in Channapatna as per Vokkaliga traditions. The flower palanquin, along with the villagers' tribute, said, "Govinda... Govinda..." In the midst of the chanting, Saroja Devi joined the lap of Mother Earth.
Shivarajkumar, Raghavendra Rajkumar, Jaggesh, Upendra, Shruthi, Tara, Malashree and many others paid their last respects. Dr. Her pairing with Rajkumar was memorable and she shone in the film industry along with Kalyan Kumar, Udayakumar, and many other senior actors from South India.
Saroja Devi, who made her film debut with the 1955 film "Mahakavi Kalidasa", has acted in numerous films in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi languages. In 2019, she was last seen in Puneeth Rajkumar starrer "Nata Sarvabhouma". Abhinaya Saraswathi popularly known as B. Though Saroja Devi is not with us today, her artistic talents will always be with us.
