Actor and director Raj B Shetty has met Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar. The meeting was further intrigued by the discussion on film collaboration.

Directed by Raj B Shetty, 'Su From So' was a huge hit not only in Kannada but also in other languages. Due to the uniqueness of the story, narrative and technical aspects, the film is being remade in the past. After the success of the film, Raj B Shetty has stepped into his next path.

Earlier, director JP had met Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn to celebrate the success of 'Su From So'. Now that Raj B Shetty has spoken to Akshay Kumar, it is a matter of pride for Kannadigas. Raj B Shetty met Akshay Kumar on the sets of his upcoming film 'Haiwaan' in Ooty. 'Haivaan' is being produced by KVN Productions in Kannada.

Akshay Kumar has been very appreciative of his film 'Su From So'. It is learnt that he told Raj B Shetty, "If you have a story, tell me, let's make a film." However, Raj B Shetty's approach to filmmaking is different. As he has said many times, he doesn't like to run around for the call sheets of star heroes in his movies. For him, the story is the star and the character is more important than the actor. So, it is not yet clear what is the possibility of doing a film with Akshay Kumar. However, the meeting between the two is a matter of great pride for the Kannada film industry.
