The state government has announced the Karnataka Ratna award posthumously to Vishnuvardhan. At the same time, veteran actress B. Saroja Devi has also been honoured. Actor-director Ramesh Aravind, who was happy with the news, shared sweet memories of his time with Vishnuvardhan. Ramesh Aravind says that every experience with Vishnuvardhan has been positive. Especially during the shooting of the film Deepavali, one incident is still in his mind.

Ramesh Aravind had an accident during the shoot and injured his leg. However, he attended the shoot with a leg injury so that Vishnuvardhan's dates would not be lost. Vishnuvardhan immediately reprimanded the producers. "If I'm a star, they're human too, aren't they? Why do you do this? I'll give you more dates," he said, showing concern for Ramesh.

Ramesh Aravind recalls that when he went to Vishnuvardhan's house, the atmosphere was different. "I used to go to Vishnu Baraiah's house. I was impressed by his costumes, especially the dress worn by an Arabian sheikh. The discussions over coffee in a steel glass are even more enjoyable," he said.

Vishnuvardhan had a strong desire to be directed by Ramesh Aravind. He used to say, "You should direct my film." This plan existed even before Rama Shama Bhama was directed, but due to various reasons, it was not possible," recalls Ramesh.

Vishnuvardhan's care, friendship and love for art are still etched in everyone's memory. The memories of Ramesh Aravind once again remind us of the humanity and adaptability of the adventure lion. Fans still imagine what it would have been like if it had been a Vishnuvardhan-Ramesh Aravind film.
