Kannada film legend Dr. Rajkumar's sister Nagamma breathed her last today. Nagamma grew up with the affection of her mother and father, who played with Shivarajkumar, Raghavendra Rajkumar and Puneeth Rajkumar as a child. This personality of motherly love was always remembered in the Dodmane family.

Nagammaru, who lives with his family in Gajanur, had recently fallen ill due to age-related health issues. The news of Puneeth Rajkumar's demise was largely hidden from the family for fear that it might give him a shocking disability.

Nagamma, who is still alive in her mind, was in tears when she spoke to a YouTuber who had come to Gajanur a few months ago and said, "Appu Kanda, come once and take care of me." These words are now heart-rending.

Shivarajkumar is returning from his Goa trip in the middle of his film work for the last rites. Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar and his daughter Raghavendra Rajkumar's family have also left for Gajanur. Nagammattu's funeral will be held at Gajanur on August 2.
