Actor Darshan no longer has a bed or pillow in prison: Darshan's lawyer makes serious allegations


'Challenging Star' Darshan of the Kannada film industry, is lodged in the Parappana Agrahara Central Jail in Bengaluru in connection with a murder case. But now another aspect of jail life has come to light. Darshan has again approached the court for not providing basic facilities in the jail.

The 64th Sessions Court in Bengaluru had ordered the provision of minimum facilities. However, the petition alleged that the jail authorities did not comply with the court order. Darshan's lawyer said that it is not just a matter of lack of facilities and not following the court order amounts to contempt of court.
In the petition submitted to the sessions court, it has been requested to refer a contempt case against the Parappana Agrahara jail authorities to the High Court. The lack of response even after the court order has further worried Darshan's lawyers.
Darshan, who is an accused in the Renukaswamy murder case, is currently serving his life in jail. However, the lack of basic facilities in the jail is another center of controversy.
