After KGF and Salaar, Ravi Basrur gets an offer from Hollywood – Kannadigas are proud in the music world!

Ravi Basrur, who has carved out his own style in the world of music, is not only the pride of Kannadigas but also a proud name in the Indian film industry. Ravi made a name for himself at the international level with KGF and later rose to another level with Salaar. Now, he himself has revealed that he has received offers from Hollywood as well.

Ravi Basrur made his debut with 'Ugram', but it was 'KGF' that brought him popularity. The background score of the film was powerfully captivating the audience. Thus, his name shone not only at the South Indian level but also at the Pan India level.

Though the music of 'Salaar' received mixed reviews, the film changed Ravi's life. "After the release of Salaar, I got calls from 3-4 production houses in the US," he said. This is a testament to his talent transcending boundaries.

Ravi Basrur, who is not only a music director but also a director, has now experimented with 'Veerachandra Haasa'. The film is slated to release in Telugu on September 19 and is based on Yakshagana. This is another special effort of his direction.

Though KGF and Salaar have been successful, his music has not clicked as much in some films. Yet, Ravi is constantly experimenting with new things. He is currently working with Prashanth Neel and Jr NTR. He said that he has already prepared 3-4 versions of music for this project.

Earlier, Ravi had directed a film for children, in which Yash and Radhika Pandit have lent their voices to the characters. However, the film did not do as well as expected. Yet, the love for art is evident behind his efforts.
