Veteran actor Honnavalli Krishnan also in trouble

The strike by the transport employees has not only affected the common man but also veteran Kannada actor Honnavalli Krishna. Honnavalli Krishna and his wife, who had come to Majestic by metro from Whitefield, were waiting for a bus to go to Madanayakanahalli. But they eventually had to go by cab as the buses did not go off the road.

The employees of four transport divisions, including BMTC and KSRTC, are on strike to press for their demands, including wage revision and release of arrears. As a result, the public has been stranded at the stations.

Reacting to this, actor Krishna said, "There should not have been such a bandh. People have suffered a lot. Such a situation should not be repeated," he said.
