The lyrical video, which was released on August 24, received mixed reviews initially but garnered millions of views within 24 hours. While some commented that "paid views, fake likes", the song craze has not diminished but has been on the rise.

Directed and produced by Milana Prakash. Rachana Rai plays the female lead, along with Achyuth Kumar, Mahesh Manjrekar, Avinash, Chandan in pivotal roles. Darshan is said to have played a multi-shade role and will also be seen in the avatar of the chief minister. The film is slated to release on December 12.

Though the film was delayed amidst the Renukaswamy case, Darshan resumed shooting after he came out of jail. The film has been shot in Mysore, Rajasthan and Thailand and the dubbing has also been completed.
