Divine Star Rishab Shetty celebrated his 79th Independence Day in his hometown Keradi. He hoisted the national flag at Keradi Government Kannada Medium School and greeted the school children. He was accompanied by his wife Pragathi Shetty, children Ranvith and Radhya.

"Independence Day with my family and children of Keradi Government School in our village. The future of these little ones is the future of our India," Rishab Shetty wrote on social media. Rishab Shetty, who created awareness about the survival of government schools through 'Kasargod', has continued this campaign not only in cinema but also in real life. The adoption of the Government Kannada Medium School in Keradi and joining hands for its development is a testimony to his social work.

The shooting of 'Kantara: A Legend – Chapter 1' has already been wrapped up and is slated to release worldwide on October 2, 2025. Apart from Kannada, the film will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, Bengali and English. Aravind S. Kashyap's camera work, B. Ajaneesh Loknath has composed the music and Vijay Kiragandur is producing the film.

Rishab Shetty recently released the film's making video and shared the message that nothing is possible without God. The video has given a big response to the minds of the fans. Apart from Kannada cinema, Rishab Shetty is now focusing on Telugu films as well. He is playing the role of Hanuman in Prashanth Varma's 'Jai Hanuman'. She will also star in a film on Chhatrapati Shivaji.

Rishab Shetty, who celebrated Independence Day in his hometown, has won the hearts of his fans with his tribute to the soil of his country.
