2024 Kannada Rajyotsava Award List Announced Special Mark for Cinema and Theatre Karnataka Government has recognized 69 achievers for this year's Kannada Rajyotsava Award. Two achievers from cinema and five from theater have been selected for this honour. Awardees from Film Industry: 1,.Hema Choudhary – Since 1976, the award has been given in recognition of her long service in Kannada film industry in the roles of heroine, mother and grandmother. 2.MS Narasimhamurthy – Senior writer who has provided lyrics, dialogues and screenplays for many serials and movies. From theatre: 1.Saraswati Zaulaika Begum 2.Obalesh HB 3.Bhagya Ravi 4.D Ramu 5.H Janardhana 6.Hanuman Dasa Pawara along with them in the fields of music, dance, yakshagana and bayalata are being recognized and this time the Kannada Rajyotsava Award is being given.
