"The marriage was fixed a month ago, the news came out late," Chikkanna clarifies

Kannada comedian Chikkanna's wedding has been fixed and the news has brought joy to the fans. The matter came to light on August 31 through a few photos that suddenly went viral. Chikkanna is getting married to Pavana of Mahadevapura village in Srirangapatna taluk of Mandya district. The marriage talks have already been completed in the presence of the family members.
The engagement ceremony will also take place soon and the wedding date is expected to be officially announced soon.

Speaking after the news of the marriage came to light, Chikkanna said, "Our marriage was fixed months ago. There was a flowering shastra. I came to know about it late. I went to a birthday party yesterday. Someone there took a photo and made it viral," he said. At the same time, he said, "Pavana is an entrepreneur. He is recognized as a biode-composite material distributor. This is a marriage that has been arranged by the elders," he said.

Chikkanna, who hails from Ballahalli in Mysuru, was first introduced through comedy shows. Later, she became a household name with zee-kannada's show "Comedy Khiladigalu". She performed a skit with Kuri Prathap at the golden jubilee celebrations of Kannada film industry and won the hearts of the audience. Chikkanna, who made his silver screen debut with 'Kirataka', has acted in more than 50 films till date. Lucky, Rajahuli, Bulbul, Victory, President, Rudra Tandava, Ranna, Natasarvabhowma, Vice President, Choo Mantar, Forest are among the others.

She has shared screen space with star actors Darshan, Sudeep, Yash and Puneeth Rajkumar and has impressed her fans with her own comedy style.
