Rukmini Vasanth as Kanakavati in ‘Kantara Chapter 1’ – a special gift for Varamahalakshmi festival!

Actress Rukmini Vasanth is playing the role of 'Kanakavathi' in the much-awaited film 'Kanthara Chapter 1' produced by Hombale Films and directed by Rishab Shetty. On this auspicious day of Varamahalakshmi festival, the makers have unveiled their first look. The film will give a deeper backdrop to the story of 'Kanthara', which was released in 2022 and was acclaimed globally.

The first look of actor Rishab Shetty, which was released on his birthday and the videos of the subsequent completion of the shoot, have already created a lot of curiosity. Now the introduction of the character of 'Kanakavathi' has further increased the expectations about the film. Aravind S is credited with the amazing visual splendour in the film.
