Actor Darshan, who is in jail in connection with the murder of Renukaswamy, has once again been accused of struggling due to lack of basic facilities. Darshan's lawyer Sunil Kumar argued against the jail authorities and the court is expected to pronounce its verdict on September 19.

According to advocate Sunil Kumar, Darshan has not been provided with proper facilities despite the court order. "The accused in Pakistan have chess, carrom, infrastructure. But our accused is not getting the same facility. They are ignoring the court order," he said. The lawyer questioned that keeping Darshan in quarantine was a discriminatory decision.

"Family and lawyers should be allowed to visit. This is the rule. But permission is not being granted. The jail authorities are deliberately torturing me," he alleged.

Advocate Sachin Tendulkar, appearing for the government, argued:

  • Darshan has been given the facility as per the jail rules.
  • Necessary facilities including blankets, blankets and cups have been provided.
  • Walking will be allowed for one hour each in the morning and evening.
  • "There is no such thing as quarantine now. Action has been taken as per the SOP."

Darshan's lawyer said, "Let him testify to everything. Let the documents be shown. They are acting against the court order," he said. The court will now hear the arguments of both the parties and will pronounce its verdict on the contempt petition on September 19. There is a lot of curiosity as to whether the facilities asked for by Darshan will be provided or not.

Since Darshan is a celebrity accused in the case, every stage of the case is being seen by the public. It remains to be seen what the court's verdict will be.
