KGF Shetty Bhai Dinesh Mangalore passes away – Sandalwood in mourning

Dinesh Mangaluru (55), who was an artiste and art director of Sandalwood, passed away at the age of 55. He was best known for his role as Shetty Bhai in Yash starrer KGF 1.

Dinesh Mangaluru was suffering from illness for a long time. He had suffered a stroke a few years ago during the shooting of KGF Part 1 and was undergoing treatment at hospitals in Kundapur and Bengaluru. But recently, he fell seriously ill again and was undergoing treatment at the Surgeon's Hospital in Kundapur. He breathed his last early this morning.

Born on January 1, 1970, Dinesh studied in a government school in Kollur, Mangaluru. His artistic career started with theatre and then moved on to cinema. He has acted in films like Ranavikrama, Kirik Party, Others Kandante, KGF and many more.

Similarly, he also showed his talent as an art director. He directed art for many films including Veera Madakari and Chandramukhi Pranasakhi. Dinesh Mangaluru is survived by his wife Bharathi Pai and two children Surya Siddharth and Sajan Pai. His family, friends and the Kannada film industry are in a state of shock with his demise.
