High Court stays FIR against 'Toxic' movie

The Karnataka High Court has stayed the FIR registered against Yash starrer 'Toxic' for alleged violation of the Forest Act. The FIR was registered following a complaint by the forest department that the film's team, produced by KVN Productions and Monster Minds, had illegally cut down trees and constructed a set. Forest Minister Ishwar Khandre also inspected the site and tried to substantiate the allegation through satellite images. However, the producer's lawyer argued in the court that the set was not on forest land and the trees were not cut. After the hearing, the judge issued an interim stay order, thus relieved that the team of Toxic is relieved to continue shooting. After completing the shooting of the film in Bengaluru, the team has now shifted to Mumbai. Nayanthara, Kiara Advani and many others are playing the lead roles in the film.
