Director Guruprasad's death revealed Director Guruprasad, who won the hearts of Kannada film lovers with films like 'Mata' and 'Edhelu Manjunatha', passed away on Sunday. Guruprasad's body was found hanging in his apartment near Madanayakanahalli. As per the preliminary investigation by the police, Guruprasad is suspected to have committed suicide on October 29. Before committing suicide, Guruprasad had bought a rope and a curtain and had locked the house from inside. Shockingly, four of his mobile phones and tablets were seized by the police and sent to the FSL for messages. Despite severe debt difficulties, Guruprasad was struggling in life. He is said to have been changing his house to avoid constant pressure from debtors against him. This debt burden is said to be the reason for his suicide. As a mark of respect, Guruprasad's creativity is being remembered in the world of cinema. His last work was 'Edhelu Manjunatha'.
