Sandalwood actor Darshan visited the Chamundi Hill in Mysuru today and offered prayers to Goddess Chamundeshwari. Darshan's fans gathered in large numbers to see him, took pictures and wished him.
This was Darshan's first public meeting after returning from a foreign trip and videos and photos of the same went viral on social media when he had darshan of the deity.
Earlier, the state government had filed a petition in the Supreme Court seeking cancellation of bail against Darshan and Pavithra Gowda. The incident assumes significance in the wake of the Renuka Swamy murder case. Darshan's visit to the temple has created a lot of buzz.
