"Arjun Janya lived without touching alcohol for 10 years – the reason is the grace of the Goddess"

Arjun Janya, the famous music director of Kannada cinema, has earned a huge fan following with his unique musical talent. In a recent interview, Arjun Janya opened up about his past alcohol addiction, the hardships of his father's demise and his spiritual journey.

"When my father left, we had a very difficult situation. That was a big lesson for me," Arjun Janya said. On that occasion he started getting peace of mind through Om Shakti Puja. Arjun Janya said that the experience of visiting the Adi Parasakthi temple in 2005 was the one that changed his life. "When I entered the temple, the Bangarwadis used to walk like normal people. People used to apply the soil on their heads. After that, I had a darshan of my mother. I was suddenly in tears. I didn't even know why I was crying," he recalled.

Alcohol consumption was a part of his life while working in the orchestra. But the guilt of the day before going to the temple brought him a new decision. "After seeing God, I decided not to drink. I also told my friends. From then on, I didn't touch alcohol for the next 10 years," Janya said.

They believe that the first musical opportunity in their lives came only after the darshan of God. "Every moment's breath is my mother's. Even if it's difficult, you don't feel anything. Even if you get success, you don't feel much," Arjun Janya said. This heartwarming experience of Arjun Janya shows how important spirituality is not only in the field of music but also in life. He has given a message that one can stay away from addictions like alcohol and achieve peace, strength and success in life through devotion to the Goddess.
