Those who made indecent comments against Darshan's family will be punished for hurting women's dignity

Bhaskar Prasad of Nelamangala has lodged a complaint with the Women's Commission. "Vijayalakshmi Darshan and her son are being abused on social media. This is not just mental harassment, it also hurts the dignity of women," she said.

Based on the complaint, the Women's Commission has written to the police commissioner asking him to take appropriate action. The commission's chairperson Nagalakshmi has ordered "action as per law and submit a report within 15 days". Such incidents have happened in the past as well.
