Social media is the power in everyone's hands today. But some people are misusing this power. A complaint has been lodged with the Women's Commission against Darshan's wife Vijayalakshmi for allegedly posting indecent and obscene posts about Darshan and son Vineesh.

Bhaskar Prasad of Nelamangala has lodged a complaint with the Women's Commission. "Vijayalakshmi Darshan and her son are being abused on social media. This is not just mental harassment, it also hurts the dignity of women," she said.

Based on the complaint, the Women's Commission has written to the police commissioner asking him to take appropriate action. The commission's chairperson Nagalakshmi has ordered "action as per law and submit a report within 15 days". Such incidents have happened in the past as well. Actress Ramya was also subjected to obscene comments and some people were arrested by the police after she lodged a complaint. Recently, Renukaswamy had sent an indecent message to Pavithra Gowda. However, it is regrettable that people are making the same mistake again and again without learning their lessons.

Today, the number of people making indecent comments from millions of fake fake accounts is increasing day by day. They hide their true identity and hurt the personal dignity of others. But such acts are punishable under the law. As the Women's Commission has already clarified, strict action will be taken against such people. The behaviour of such miscreants directly affects the dignity of women. Targeting the families of star actors and verbally abusing them is a crime committed in the name of a fan. The Women's Commission has given a clear message to the police that strict action is necessary against such people.

While social media is a platform for expression, it is not a place where someone can be abused or insulted. This incident on Darshan's family has once again raised a serious question before us: Are we really fans who turn to verbal abuse in the name of 'Abhimana'?" What is your opinion? Should those who comment from such fake accounts be severely punished?
