Sonu is late for the recording - Prem gets angry and scolded at him on the phone!

Bollywood's famous singer Sonu Nigam has given many super hit songs in Kannada too with his sweet voice. Though his voice has impressed many, sometimes his statements have also led to the anger of Kannadigas. He was once banned from the Kannada film industry for his controversial remarks on Kannada. The matter was later resolved after an apology.

However, director Jogi Prem recently shared another incident that happened with Sonu Nigam. Sonu Nigam was supposed to lend his voice for the song 'Ek Love Ya'. Director Prem and music director Arjun Janya had gone to Mumbai and were waiting for Sonu for the recording. Sonu asked him to come at 6 pm, but he did not come. Then we got information that he would arrive at 7 pm, 9 o'clock and finally at 12 noon.

An angry Prem called Sonu Nigam directly and scolded him saying, "First learn to respect the song, the music director." "I get scolded in Kannada, Hindi, Malayalam and all other languages. I scolded him so badly. After this, Sonu apologised, booked a flight ticket in person and came to Bengaluru and recorded the song."

After the incident, Sonu Nigam had admitted in his vlog, "It was a mistake, this should not be done." In Prem's words, the big controversy between Kannadigas could have been avoided if Sonu had apologised from the beginning. Prem is currently busy with his magnum opus 'KD'. Starring Dhruva Sarja and Reshma Nanaiah in the lead roles, the film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Shilpa Shetty, Ravichandran, Ramesh Aravind and others. Two songs and a teaser have already been released and have created a lot of expectations among the audience.

Sonu Nigam's songs are still loved in the minds of Kannadigas. But, the incident narrated by Jogi Prem reminds us of the lesson that artists should not forget their profession and religion. Respect, punctuality and dedication are the foundation of success in any field.
