S. Narayan's mysterious statement goes viral!

Kannada film director and actor S. Narayan has been embroiled in a big controversy lately. His daughter-in-law Pavithra has filed a dowry harassment case, to which Narayan has responded. S. Narayan's son Pawan's wife Pavithra has accused her husband and in-laws of dowry harassment. Pavithra left home about 14 months ago but has now filed a case.

S. responded with a clear response. Narayan has dismissed the allegations as false and baseless. "I could have lodged a complaint the day Pavitra left the house. Why so late? I have done films against dowry. It is ironic that the allegations have been levelled against me now," Narayan said, recalling that his father was the one who fought against dowry in the 60s. "Neither I nor my family were in favour of dowry. But some women are using the law as a weapon." There was no opposition from Narayan's family." When you come as a daughter-in-law, you have to live with the respect of the family. But today's generation is not ready for that. It's an insoluble problem."

Responding to Pavithra's allegations, Narayan said, "Yes, I am sitting at home with broken arms and legs. It's funny that they're taking care of me. I'm giving jobs to eight people. My daughters can live comfortably at home." As the case is heading to court, Narayan did not want to comment further.

"If there is a wound, you can apply ointment. But what can be done without any injury? We will prove the truth in court. I am confident of winning." The dowry harassment allegations levelled against Narayan are now in court. The incident, which was once an issue within the family, is now a matter of public debate. Only the court's verdict will decide whose side the truth is on.
